Yes.

I think the American spelling is more common worldwide and it also
contains the more regular and thus more sane spelling variants.  Plus,
most of FFmpeg uses American spelling already.

Also, it's only fitting to remove British spelling from our codebase now
that no British team made it to EURO 2008.  Next up: the Falklands ;-)
