Technically, "parenthesis" is the singular; since you've removed more
than one, the correct form would be "parentheses". Not necessarily worth
changing, but I felt like pointing it out.

"Parenthesis" can also refer to "a phrase contained within parentheses"
(usually one used as an aside within a larger sentence - such as this
one), but that's obviously not what you're meaning here.
