The last time we "talked" about this on IRC, you flamed as if there was
no tomorrow. I'm more than hesitant to be drawn into this once more.

Look, I have a clear vision of what to achieve with the 0.5 branch.
I started the release effort with the explicit intention of keeping a
narrow focus and I have no intention of amplifying it now.

I want to fulfill the needs of distributors and users that incorporate
FFmpeg into their software in one way or another. Judging from the
feedback I have received, this goal was met.

Licensing issues are high priority items and important for the types of
users the 0.5 is intended for. Thus I backport licensing-related fixes.

Security-related fixes also belong in the 0.5 branch. Help with finding
and merging these is very welcome.

Other types of changes are generally unwelcome, will be evaluated on a
case-by-case basis and default to rejected.

Now please respect my decisions as release manager for the 0.5 branch.

Diego
