I agree with Mans, but I'm not quite sure such a change is really
necessary.  That was a lot of work just to change from one style to
another, and I don't really see much benefit to it.

I'm not going to argue for a revert though.  And every time something
like this gets discussed, it ends up in 200-post-long bikeshed
argument that does nothing but waste our time.
