I meant:
yes the patch was merged, and Michael confirmed that

...but that he hopes Stefano will come with a patch for fixing the
AVIO_* flags issue (posted already), but maybe was he referring to the
-cvs problem?

Unfortunately I don't know how to improve the git/ffmpeg-cvs issue.
