[Ffmpeg-devel] Support to AVC interlaced video ?

Dear all, 

sorry if this question was previously answered, but as a good ffmpeg
newbie i could not find its answer. :)

As per the references i found, ffmpeg doesn't currently support the
decoding of AVC interlaced video.

Is that correct ? 

Is there any development effort going on to include this feature in ffmpeg
-- probably in libavcodec ?
