There is documentation on the site and the developers are quite open
about questions
Why dirac if we have snow, probably is the right question, simple
answer: to have something to compare and check if their ideas don't have
a point here or there. Snow is getting almost ready but isn't yet
because too few people got interested and too few did something on it,
dirac and snow are alike, having both would be share probably some of
the optimization work and have more people working and improving both.

I guess bbc will use it once an optimized implementation is available.
