The problem is not the C ABI... Basically you get an undefined
reference to _fprintf$LDBL128 expected
to be defined in /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib if you compile with gcc 4
(if I remember correctly). The only way
to have a ppc binary compatible with 10.2 to 10.4 is to compile with
