Works here, but all of this is still an annoyance.

Dieter, could you please create *one* patch for all the static changes
and resend it as attachment?  There are more than 20 patches from you
alone floating around, keeping track of this is a full-time job.  Also
please create the patches from the root of the source tree, it's easier
to apply them this way.
