  For the two flavours of DV we currently support: DV(IEC 61834), DVCPRO25 and 
  an upcoming DVCPRO50 your assumptions are quite correct. For the DVCPRO 100 
  aka DVCPRO HD the CODEC is different.

P.S. It funny how nowadays I tend to hand WikiPedia links much more frequently
