[Ffmpeg-devel] MPEG-2 TS support by ffmpeg

Hi to all

I really don't know if this is the right place to post these question, but since in the
ffmpeg-user mailing list I take no answer and also I see that everybody is concerned
only about the ffmpeg.exe and not the library, I decided to try also here

What I want to know is whether the ffmpeg library fully supports the MPEG-2 TS generation or not. I read in one of the header files that there is a fake mpeg2 ts structure which is not actually the real implementation of it. Is this still true?

And if there is full support for TS, then why the TS I build is shown trembling when I insert B frames in it and play it with VLC?

Amongst others, I give the following to the Codec Context:

pCodecCtx->has_b_frames = 1;
pCodecCtx->max_b_frames = 2;

Thanx in advance
