libsndfile can create pcm caf files, but I found a bug which causes it
to under-report the data size by 4 bytes.  As for more "official" files,
I believe that any programs which use apple coreaudio can create caff
files.  I got my test samples from David Conrad, so I'm not sure how
they were generated.
