Easy Michael, I'm just trying to do my best as part-time patch
application monkey ... :)

Now there were so many Doxygen patches floating around that I simply
lost track which approved and which one was not.  Since this one had
already passed through at least one round of review from you and another
from me I figured it was acceptable.

I can revert the patch now, but I believe it will be easier if we just
apply the necessary changes incrementally.  I don't think the patch was
so wrong that it needs to be backed out.

In my experience a series of incremental commits works quite well for
documentation.  This is different than code.  It will never make the
program fail to compile, crash or similar...
