btw, this is on linux.

Is there a way for the configure script to not print that? For the purpose of not making it look like FFmpeg's configure is broken.

And what about making the setting of ulimit and printing the warning message a function, as i mentioned in some other e-mail?
I'll use it for more checks that might crash.
