[FFmpeg-devel] buf in avformat/utils.c?

Hello

I wonder if the function "set_codec_from_probe_data(AVStream *st, 
AVProbeData *pd, int score)"

should not be modifed to handle ALL known input formats?

Btw maybe the AVInputFormat  structure should be modified  to include 
prefered_codec_id and codec_type fields?


Any opinions?
