[FFmpeg-devel] Possible new devices (ALSA, X11)

Hi.

I am considering writing a module for ALSA capture and playback, similar to
the existing OSS one. I know some people have very strong feelings against
ASLA, so before starting to work, I would like to be sure that my patch
would not be immediately rejected as a matter of principle. Would it?

While I am at it, I may as well ask the question for an X11 output device:
would it be ok in principle?
