I also found

and conclude that
1) the language tag seems generally accepted
2) I remembered correctly that there is no specification whatsoever
on it values, it is just an arbitrary string an it is the player's job
to do wild guessing.

I know it is ugly, but since that fits in the general design of ogg/ogm,
can I convince you to accept it (or at least something similar)?
