I wrote about that in this same thread 3 days ago. Basically you need a
git-svn repo. There are at least 3 potential ways to achieve that: build
one from scratch yourself (involves getting every existing revision over
the svn protocol, wastes bandwidth etc), find a way to make the existing
git-svn repo on mphq work with local git-svn, or get someone to make a
new clonable git-svn repo available that's set up in a way that allows
the standard recipe to work.
