so there is a bug in the ac3 probe, did you report that?
i would guess copy & pasting the thresholds and scores from mp3 probe
might fix it ...

If a bugfix only changes things apparently unrelated to the bug with no
further explanation, that is a good sign that the bugfix is wrong.
