In the broken sample at

I used -b 384k, maxrate=768000 - like in ipod320 - and
bufsize=500000 - much less than the proposed bufsize=3000000 from
the preset. I have the suspicion that the latter is too high but
already got bashed for it. Unfortunatley I haven't found any
reliable documentation so far.
