The msys rxvt shell is annoying, but running bash from cmd is a bit
faster than cygwin.

There's nothing impressive about PowerShell nor console2. Dark shikari
says he's been using puttycyg [1], and it looks a bit nicer
actually... Still, like you mentioned, you can't fix that launching
commands is far too slow (but you can run make -r to save some
valuable seconds that would be spent on "implicit rules" that FFmpeg
doesn't use).
