[FFmpeg-devel] Question about rtp_get_file_handles()

Hi all,

I see that rtp_get_file_handles() does not seem to be used anywhere, and 
it is in a "#if (LIBAVFORMAT_VERSION_MAJOR <= 52)" section... But its 
prototype is not in a public header, so I think it is not an exported 
function.
Does anyone know why it cannot be removed before the major version bump?
