[FFmpeg-devel] [RFC] moving threading abstraction to libavutils

I'd like to use the threading abstraction in ffplay (to replace sdl
little by little) and possibly to port a nifty async protocol Aviad
wrote to be platform agnostic and written in C (the original code is C++
targeting windows since he needed to solve the udp dropout issue quickly).
Anybody got opinions?
