Shall we instead deprecate MAINTAINERS? As various people have brought
up in the past, open source / free software isn't about keeping
control, it's about giving away. Those that are expert in a field are
known and will always be asked for advice anyway.

(Parts of MAINTAINERS is completely outdated anyway, and lists people
that aren't involved in FFmpeg anymore.)
