  Well OK-- I know that not all visitors of our site live on the
northern hemisphere. I mentioned it in my last news entry. But I
understand your objections and I will relax the sentence a bit.

  I understand this as a joke (because of the smiley that ends your comment
and because the original text is a joke too).

  I hope you do not object to contest submissions that do contain snow or
other explicit winter things that do not necessarily apply to say Australia ;)
