Can't you fix libpostproc to enforce runtime cpu detection and remove
the non-runtime cpu detect code? In practice, for x86, there is almost
no conceivable reason to not use runtime cpu detection. Thus, offering
such an option is kind of like offering an option to shoot yourself in
the foot.
