Same, but I'd like an example working out of the box.

If you mean adding in ffmpeg docs a down3dright equivalent in stereo3d
examples, then I agree with this.

I thought about that, but the problem is that we have multiple outputs
(think manpages). We can do some conditional code, but that might get
clumsy sometimes to keep both versions (manpages and html) consistent and
meaningful. Also, having a bunch of images in the repository might not be
a good idea.
