Agreed, although top to bottom is not a bad alternative, and for complex
filters scrolling vertically is more natural, and imo makes things
easier to follow than a horizontal scroll of a long thin graph.

This inevitably happens as filters tend to be wider (to fit the text)
than their depth, so making the flow orthogonal to this helps keep
things sane.

Perhaps if Clément were to reproduce his example using the current
layout it would make the point better!
