[FFmpeg-devel] API/ABI compatibility with Libav fork

I want inquiry about the compatibility between FFmpeg and Libav.

I already know that the major version numbers in 1.2 branch are the same as
the Libav 9 branch, but are they completely compatible if built with
--enable-incompatible-libav-abi?

If yes, you can add a notice on the download page "this release is fully
compatible with Libav release branch 9". If no, why? Because of lavfi?

And how about 2.0 and Libav master, 0.10 and Libav 0.8?
