[FFmpeg-devel] new behaviour -- Cannot combine reference and non-reference fields in the same frame

OK.  This problem is specific to mplayer...with hardframedrop enabled, so the behaviour is as I would expect since hardframedrop does bad things to non-intra-frame sequences

Probably not a bug.
