I assume you talk about the hevc decoder and not the 2 line patch you
replied to.

Iam just merging code here really, I do not intend to compete with
its authors if that is what you are suggesting.
rather the opposit, i would be happy to work together with all the
open hevc developers in ffmpeg but i have a long todo list so i
suspect they will do much more on the decoder than i will, but then
again i could be wrong ...
also the libav - ffmpeg split has a good chance of complicating
that working together significantly. Thus in the end my plan to work
on this could end up as being "not much" simply because of all this
