i think iive might not know who to ask. should he ask on irc channel?
mailing list? is iive welcome there?

i asked in #libav-devel last week and the reply i got was that michael
is banned. no one was interested in removing his ban.

the reason we are asking for michael to be unbanned is because he is
instrumental in designing and maintaining the various api.

i think you'll find in this thread and in random complaints about code
have nothing to do with hate.

some developers wont work with each other due to developer policies.
due to not having commit rights or waiting for reviews. or due to
patches, emails and questions being completely ignored. or due to
developers saying 'not our problem' and 'don't ask us to solve it.'--
the two answers i got when asking about the vp7 commit in libav-devel
irc channel a few days ago.

its completely anyones right to say that, i dont have a problem with
it. i even understand their position and its fine with me, no hate
involved.

you are asking me to work with someone who says they will not help. how
should i proceed? what can i do?
