I guess it makes sense considering it's been in the tree for much longer.
It will have to be removed at some point. It's silly having it around as a 
perma-deprecated option that does the same thing as another option.

Maybe right before the release of ffmpeg 3.0? A deprecated option being 
removed at that point wouldn't be something unexpected, especially if it's 
been in that state since 2.0
