Comment:

 Yes, I think that should be a reasonable workaround for you.
 You might want to look if you can improve that internal tool anyway
 though, because if you ever happen to have 60 fps progressive material you
 will probably need a much, much more complicated workaround to make
 everything still work.
 I don't think it's really suitable for inclusion into main FFmpeg, so I'll
 set this to wontfix.
