 I tried it with omitting the stuff, and ffmpeg chooses

 Stream #0:0: Video: mpeg4 (FMP4 / 0x34504D46)

 giving a similar error like:

 Error, Invalid timestamp=2098226, last=2098226
 Video encoding failed
