 this one works fine -

 # '/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg' -y -i sample.wmv -threads 0 -strict experimental
 -vcodec mpeg4 -ab 64k -s 480x270 -t 10000 -an  sample.mp4

 not sure what current git head means
