 Initially I thought i was frame rate related, possibly the incorrect frame
 rate maybe be causing the A/V desync, but after further testing (even
 forcing the correct framerate using -r) I am unable to get the video in
 sync.

 so this is an unrelated issue where the A/V is going out of sync. Again -
 my apologies for connecting this issue with the frame rate, if you'd like
 I can open a separate ticket on this issue.
