 To be honest, I haven't realized there are 2 problems in this issue, I've
 just pasted the forum posts to make things easier to analyze and track.
 Now, I'm not sure where to put these samples that guy has provided using
 ffmpeg ftp server, so I'll leave them here too. Files uploaded were named
 like:
 invalid_cliping_on_screen_but_encodes_finishes.mpg
 invalid_cliping_on_screen_hangs_ffpmpeg_endless_file_grow.mpg
