 it is not required if both videos have different SAR (e.h video0 SAR 0:1
 (I'm still not sure how this one was calculated but it was produced using
 libx264) and video1 SAR 1:1).
 I tried generating both videos using mpeg4 and then applying the same
 filter. It worked fine but the sound was somehow distorted even though I
 used exactly the same audio settings.
