Comment (by playingwithmusic):

 They all support .mp4, .m4a and .3gp files. The .aac files do not appear.
 Upon renaming the files to the supported extensions, they still do not
 play, regardless of whether faac or FFmpeg was used.

 Using either of the commands listed above still results in an unplayable
 file.
