 Regarding your original problem (that the output has changed between two
 versions of the binary you downloaded): To the best of my knowledge, there
 was no change in FFmpeg (yuv444p x264 output is supported since a long
 time), but the x264 compilation options have changed, it now supports
 yuv444p encoding, it didn't before.
