 I believe I may have to disappoint you there. One of the optimizations
 that does that, is acting up on ABR, I noticed improved quality by
 restricting it, so the v6 with optimized VBR will have that disabled as
 well (and thus be a tad slower).

 I thought that optimization was result-neutral, but it seems it isn't.
