 Your output is yuvj420p, its most probably a problem with Windows Media
 player or your video card drivers assuming its yuv420p, that is why when
 specifying yuv420p it plays fine, the moral is ALWAYS USE yuv420p, for
 compatibility reasons.

 I've had similar issues where Windows Media Player didn't play the file
 correctly, but VLC played it fine.
