 I see no response to the thread I opened. As such, to me it looks like no
 one is interested in discussing this, and the change was thus
 "intentional". Unless someone responds to that thread soon, this ticket
 should be closed. I will leave it open for a few more days, and in absence
 of a response will close the ticket.

 @cehoyos: you can (and perhaps will) reopen this ticket. Nevertheless, I
 consider the above closure symbolic, since to me (and perhaps many others)
 the above represents a clean closure, since we provided an opportunity
 that was not taken to discuss this.
