 I get you.

 However I still want to hope that ffmpeg developers will find a way to
 cope with such frames so that people won't have A/V synchronization issues
 (if those frames cannot be re-encoded).

 I guess there's no harm in duplicating preceding frames in case "uneven"
 frames are unsuitable for encoding.
