 I hope there's no problem with "talk pages" in bug tracker.

 Anyway, setting up the environment is a real pain (be it for own demerits,
 or just because I couldn't figure out instructions).
 Then I was surprised I
 [https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1309 just] had to run
 msys.bat via VC developer console to have everything perfectly configured.

 I'd personally put this on the top, but I'm afraid I might be missing
 something.

 Also, you could mention [https://msys2.github.io/ MSYS2] exist alongside
 MSYS.
 And speaking of this, mentioning you only require mingw32-gcc, msys-base
 and msys-mktemp packages.
