 We can't do much without a way to reproduce the crash (Smallest sample
 possible that generates the crash uploaded somewhere) or at least an
 useful gdb output.

 But judging by what you said about libx264 not crashing, it sounds like
 the problem may be in libx265 and not ffmpeg.
