Comment:

 Why do you want such info to be added to the site? It may be a bit of
 interesting trivia, but:

 * The info would change on every commit, and there are usually many
 commits per day.
 * The site itself does not use a database.
 * Some of this info can be viewed by cloning the repository and using
 `git` or by running a recent version of the cli tool, such as `ffmpeg
 -encoders`.
 * The site you mention is still there, although renamed, and provides some
 statistics, but I only looked for a few seconds and I'm not sure how
 accurate it is.

 To speak for myself, I'm not interested enough in this task to get
 motivated to do it. We are just volunteers and we tend to work on what we
 want to work on with our limited time spent on this project. If someone
 really wants to do this they can re-open this ticket, but I'm going to be
 realistic and close it as ''wontfix''.
