 To add to this bug report. The reason that it's more important than it
 might seem is because ffmpeg can be used to download and save streaming
 videos. Often when the video streaming ends, ffmpeg exhibits this
 behavior. The easiest way to reproduce it was to disconnect the network on
 my end.
