Comment (by oromit):

 The hwaccel is called cuda, not nvdec. nvdec is just an alias which
 ffmpeg.c translates to cuda for compatibility.

 And you probably forgot to specify the hwaccel output format, so the
 frames will be downloaded for you automatically.
